Goodbye Click & Collect

Click & Collect seems to have just vanished.

Couldn't really believe my luck when I first discovered it as I buy a lot of phone parts and eBay really is the #1 spot for delivery time etc.

Has it gone for anybody else, or just me?

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

Its still there.

WARNING EBAY LINK : eBay.co.uk – fulfilment on eBay

Not all sellers & stores opt for this, so perhaps keep looking around.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

Just been looking and not even Argos is offering it?
You just get the option : Free In-store pickup :suspicious:

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

Usually though the top sellers will always offer it, but it's not anymore. The majority must of opted out of doing, which isn't good for us who use a ghost account

Edit: On the delivery options you used to be able to select if you could just see Click & Collect listings but you can't anymore

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

The sellers must have opted out as I still have it available on my shop listings.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

I contacted chat support today and the contact found no click and collect sales other than those relating to Argos themselves. i.e. there were no other seller listings. The contact said they would report the issue.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

It seems there are people having problems with click and collect on some of the community forums, so think its just sellers are removing the option.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

I can't see any C&C listings available today.

The options for C&C has gone from search filters too.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

yup, it's not a case of sellers removing the postage option because on the site it's like it never even existed, can't filter for it in the search options

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

It is possible that it is just a glitch on eBay, or that they are updating the system.

Give it a few days and I am pretty sure it will start to appear again

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

Many people where reporting that having click and collect enabled was confusing buyers, they thought you could only use click and collect rather than have it delivered to your door.

I know many sellers opted out to stop buyers going elsewhere.

Perhaps ebay are updating the system to make it clearer.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

No announcement at all from ebay it seems. Either some kind of update, or they are no longer offering it.

When I collected an item last week they were having issues with the PDA's provided by ebay so I wonder if it's a tech problem, and they have disabled it to prevent further issues.

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

Worked it out.

Seems to be a browser issue.

Click and collect shows when using google chrome. Doesn't when using firefox.

Can't filter search even with chrome however.

Nice work blueuk - weird with chrome though - usually very user friendly

Another top pointless rsot comment :pop2:

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

It has nothing to do with a browser issue, so pointless comment from Blueuk :)

Re: Goodbye Click & Collect

My experience mirrors that of BLUEUK. Internet Explorer works, Firefox doesn't. I'm also having some problems with Firefox on at least one banking site. Whatever the reasons, that's my experience.
