I've found holds to be alot more aggressive in last month or so on ebay UK.

The email from paypal is one thing, but if ebay are still deciding to hold, then they will still be held!

Yes , sales amounts the same. Its only a few items, but have had 20 houeshold go through it which are now all cleared, all positive, one refund for lost in post and the account is over three months old.

I agree with the holds being more aggresive, I have seen them come back on , on other accounts of mine, but then get take off within a few weeks.

So we think eBay has the hold on, not PP?

Around 4 weeks ago I had the holds come off, as they were doing on all my accounts after selling £180 worth of items (Even just selling 2 £90 items, the next transaction wouldn't be held)

Now they are sticking to the exact criteria they list.

90 days from 1st sale, and the other stuff. The interesting one is the 90 days from being suspended and reinstated. I had an account MC011 asking for invoices 2 weeks after the holds dropping off from 90 days. Now the holds will be on for another 90 days.

The account will be 9 months old before it can be used properly.

What is the exact criteria they are sticking to?

Interesting. Havent had this problem before, very strange. Its no biggy, just inconvenient...I wouldnt of batted an eyelid if I hadnt got the PayPal your holds are off email.
