How to change static ip address easy solution
 

Hi guys If like me you have a static virgin media IP address, I found an easy way to change your ip

First you need to buy one blink router form ebay for £7

After you need to put your virgin media or BT modem into modem mode not on wireless mode, you could do that by putting http://192.168.2.1 in your browser.
that means you will need to use an internet cable.

After that you have to connect your old modem to the new router with the cable.

Then turn off both routers

Put http://192.168.2.1 in your browser an change, go to Mac address it looks something like that: a8-bb-cf-21-4b-10 and change the last number form 10 to11 for example click on Apply changes and wait for 40 sec turn of both routers

And enjoy your new ip address

For each number you change you will get a new ip address, so don’t forget to record each Mac and Ip address on exel

You can see on the pic how I did, I really advise you to by blink router, it easy to change the Mac address on it
