Are my holiday arrangements OK?
 

Hi all,

I'm going on holiday shortly and this is what I'm hoping to do however would like you guys to check it over please.

I'm leaving July 12th.
I run 4 accounts.
Planning on ending all listings on the 9th to give me 3 days "cooling off" period to deal with the majority of customer messages and so on.

Then for the week I'm away I'm planning on taking my Macbook with me (I do not use it for stealth) creating 4 new users and every day logging on once to deal with any messages I may have.

I've got a MIFI device with EE sim which also came with 250MB roaming data (I think) and also have a 3 sim also with around 250MB incase I need any more which I doubt I will.

Are there any problems with this?

One more thing, if I was to use holiday settings with all 4 accounts would this cause a link? I do not want to use holiday settings as the accounts are running very well and previously I always got a couple of buyers who'd leave bad feedback for slow delivery although the settings were in place. I don't think it's worth the risk.

How you going to get a UK IP to login to these accounts?

I assume you are going abroad?

Going to Spain. Didn't realise I needed a UK IP address. Where should I go from here?

Couple of options, reply to all messages via the email account attached making sure images are disabled. You don't have the need to deal with customer queries as you say you're taking listings down...

What about returns getting opened? Curious, I am thinking through my holiday battle plan as well :)

This is my main concern.

So messages can be responded to through the email accounts however cases cannot be responded to?

Nope need to login for cases.

You'll need to buy 4 UK IPs from somewhere. 24vc is your best bet.

Ok thanks. If I was to use the holiday settings across all 4 accounts could this cause a link? I wouldn't have listings up but just automated replies to messages.

Only a competitor might spot that if you are selling similar items on each account
