Same items across different accounts

I did a bit of searching and last thread about this topic was active around 3 years ago, so I thought I'd check in on ya.

Basically my story is short and sweet:

I have a "buffer" account that I used when my original account got suspended, until now that my stealths have reached 90 day mark and have decent limits.
I want to stop using the "buffer" account because it was a family members account and I just don't want to use it anymore- Why would I, if stealth is safer, easier and more "polite"(I hate when I have to invlove other people in my doings).

I have still some decent items on the account for sale, but I was wondering if I could end all listings and perhaps spread the items across other stealth accounts?

The item listings are quite specific, but not very rare. So the new listing titles would be rather specific as well, I can't really "improvise" a bot, as it's the brand name and model that really sells the item, not a "generic" titles that gets clicks.

Thing I would do before I'd list the items over at stealth accounts:
-Take new photos, with different backgrounds.
-Clean the photos from data.
-Write new description
-Use different listing formation(Duration of the auction etc)
-Use different price
-Use different shipping times

I have around 20 of those items, each different from one another and each with different price. I have 6 stealth accounts that I could spread them across.

Can this be done without linking the accounts and do I need to do anything else, to minizmise the risk?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

That is more than required and will work wonderfully.

Not sure on your exact items but different angles as well as backgrounds make your pics look entirely different as well.

ALL CAPS in some titles, all lower in others, etc...
Using templates is another option to keep accounts very different.

Different price starts....different time listings as well

Re: Same items across different accounts

I have my accounts set up so that I list during different times, on different days. I never use same font, text size or template across accounts. All different listing lenghts, wording and quality of description to sort of reflex the product quality etc.

I will end the listings and still give it couple of weeks and only then slowly start listing the items.

Because I've not done it before, I was just courious to see how strick the eBay system is and how creative I need to get, to avoid any problems.

Thanks anyway and keep the tips coming :)

Oh, and not only do I delete the metadata on photos, I always rename them differently as well, just to make sure they don't have ANY connection to them etc.

ebay is NOT strict with this if pics are clean and products are not foo foo in my experience.
The issue comes with competitors or disgruntled customers. seems to depend on your items market and of course how aggressive you sell and piss off competitors.

The category that I sell in seems to be OK to be honest, couple of big players, mostly small companies who have gone online and just people who sell random items here and there.

In terms of competitors... I have operated this category for over 2 years and I have never had any problems, messages, threats, eBay problems or anything else. The market is pretty open and everybody seems to be making decent money.
In terms of unhappy customers, I have yet to have one.
I take proper photos, describe each item individually and clearly- I'm in it for the long term, so I have to have sustainable customer base.

If it was me , I'd just let the items run their course.
Keep the buffer account for future use.
Never any reason to close a working account.
You never know when it might come in handy

You have it pretty much spot on had uk ken.

I have only crossed items a few times and have yet to have any issues.

It's one of the least likely ways to link Imo (atleast in my category)

I doubt I'll have any issues, as I'm pretty creative when it comes to my stealths. I just wanted to see if people have previous expeiences but it seems that I could possibly do it.

I ended the listings yesterday and I'll give it couple of weeks before I'll start them again on other accounts. I'm not in a mad rush to do it.

The buffer account will remain open, I just don't want to use it. I can always use it if I have a need, but it's like sugar:
If you can, why not go without it- It's not the ideal solution.
