Account get restricted but positive to restore it
 

Hi Guys,

Account get restricted today but I think I am highly likely to get this back. This account has been below standard for 2 months rolling BUT as of this morning, I had managed to get the defect below 5% and the projection for the first time in 2 months was above standard.

Unfortunately, I got restricted and even though my defect rate was below 5%, its still showing as below standard while future project said above standard

I think I may be able to appeal this successfully. What do you think guys?

Well. You have to wait, when your account stats will rise from 5% defect rate, and it will restore. But if it happens again, they may suspend you indefinitely.

The worst that can happen is they wont re-open it and I am very well prepared for that. I am just playing my last card and I hope its a King of spade. and even when the re-open it, I will effectively take the account into hibernation within 1 week.

I will only sell 0.99p goods on it henceforth, at least for the next 3 months to build the account further and better.

How much money is locked in the account at this time? Worst scenario is you lose those funds if not able to log in...

I am in the same position.

UK site is Above Standard buy Global is 5.21%. This is to go above standard on 20th July.

Spoke to customer service. Seems like they was happen to many people.
The customer service said, I should have got a warning and I am doing good.


Said I can appeal for it. Stand a good chance.
This is the first time and everything looks in all department.

Also. eBay has said number of times the defects are changing in future since many many sellers are not happy. Told me to keep a eye out.
Has anyone been successful for appealing a restricted below standard account?

Assuming buyers are not ripping you off by making false claims you might want to stop selling faulty goods that result in defects.
If the goods are faulty can you not return them to your suppliers?

Hey Guys!

Essentially, ebay taking action in retrospect. In order words, its like you've been blindly suspended over a month and all your activities after that does not matter.

Is summary, I had a chat with a rep who looked into the account and said that they took into consideration activities btween May1 to June 1 to determine the standing of the account on July 3rd.

Btw may 1 and June 1, account was like 6.4% defect
As of July 3rd, account defect had dipped to 4.3% with an above standard projection. Yet the account got suspended BECAUSE in their book it was 6.4% btw May 1 and June 1

So what is the point in trying to improve an account when it doesn't really matter.

Think what you may but I think it is Injustice, Thank GOD stealth still exist.
