| | | wrighty | 07-13-2015 03:50 AM | china import to po box Hi Guys , hope your all good .
I was wondering if anyone could advise on importing from china.
I have been importing little bits here and there to my home adress.
I have read that its not the best idea to get it sent to the home adress, dont mix buisness and home.
So i was wondering if its ok to send it to a pobox.
The items I am importing are not ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but m,aybey drifting into vero , i doubt they are but just to be on the safe side I wouldent waant for my adress to be blacklisted.
So if i import to my pobox and the items get inspected and found to be vero (Im almost sertain they wont) will they ask the pobox company for the acount holders address and still link to my home address?
Any advice would be much apreciated.

Do you know if it will be a red flag to the customs , as its not a house address?

| oompaloompa | 07-13-2015 04:14 AM | Re: china import to po box if it is in a business name, then I do not see anymore of a flag.. |
| wired | 07-13-2015 08:06 AM | Re: china import to po box Its no problem delivering to your home if you are declaring the import as its genuine cost and doing your tax return at the end of the year.
Anything VERO out of China, is 99/9percent phake :) |
Re: china import to po box Never use home address for business. |

the only red flag is how paranoid and skeptical you are of your own business.
Nope , wrong there chief. As far as im aware customs havent got x-men special powers to read minds and if they did i doubt they would be reading mine.
And if I had X-men special powers to read minds I wouldent be working in customs.
Cool story though bro.
keep up the good postes:)
To everyone else , thank you !

| wired | 07-14-2015 04:54 AM | Re: china import to po box Unknown is exactly right, not sure why you have said what you have said.
Customs do have Xray machines, albeit not minds!, but they do have lists of certain items that they look out for and they do randomly open packages from time to time.
Sounds like you are importing phakes and underdeclaring value, once you get one siezed, your address will be on the blacklist.
Otherwise there would be NO problem using your own address, if the goods are legitimate, taxes paid, fully declared and not counterfeits.
Listen to the more experienced folk Wrighty, if you wish to trade in illegal goods, then be aware of the consequences. |
| wrighty | 07-14-2015 05:09 AM | Re: china import to po box Hello, wired.
So unknown advised me to (use a box, use your home, use a dumpster...you still sell coun.terf.eits)
and then you advise me to Listen to the more experienced folk.

| wired | 07-14-2015 05:12 AM | Re: china import to po box Advised on how to get counterfeits through.
It wasn't a pointless post at all, many stealthers get upset with others selling counterfeits, because that was not what Stealth was designed or created for.
But remember to pack your soap in your overnight bag, just in case that knock on the door comes! Remember PO boxes require legtimate names to use to sign up for it, and HMRC can access that info just as quickly as you can drop your soap :) |
| wrighty | 07-14-2015 05:17 AM | Re: china import to po box Funny guy wired
Keep your fantasies to yourself lad.
If you think im selling counterfit then thats your buisness.
I dont know how old he is but he shouldent really be getting upset about a post.
I take it you have had experiance with the soap and the knock on the door, maybey start a new thread about it?
I wont be reading it .

| wired | 07-14-2015 05:31 AM | Re: china import to po box Why not post your items to your house?
No problem if they are legit and fully declared.
Simple question? |

Im not an experienced importer....
So I came her to get some advice .....
I have had some great advice and the general vibe from everyone is dont mix buisness with home.
So to answer your simple question :
Why not post your items to your house?
No problem if they are legit and fully declared.
Simple question?
Maybey have a look at this post and see if you can figure it out, can you find the answer ?
Its already been mentioned ...
:) dealagreeproceed , I find some of the posts on here funny :)

| wired | 07-14-2015 06:24 AM | Re: china import to po box Nope still waiting to hear if your items are all fully declared and legit, can't see the answer... |
| wrighty | 07-14-2015 06:32 AM | Re: china import to po box fully declared and legit:)
Do you import to your house fully declared and legit items?
If so maybey you should read the advise from the senior members on here, Listen to the more experienced folk wired.
No you can go back to the soap post your writing :)

| wired | 07-14-2015 06:37 AM | Re: china import to po box So why would you need to rent a PO box to take imports from China? Seems an additional cost.
Your address is fine if they are fully declared and legit. Because when you declare you income stream to the HMRC, you will need to put a business address, not a PO box address.
'Drifting into VERO', you cant drift into VERO, they are or they aren't and VERO items out of China?
Oops. Unfortunately, from your first post, you actually say they aren't legit.
Its fairly obvious what you are up to, but you do make me giggle, so thankyou :) |
| wrighty | 07-14-2015 06:48 AM | Re: china import to po box Wired ,
Takin a break from the soap and shower prison novel?
simple question:
do you import to your home address?
??
And I am new to vero but you would be suprised as to what can be classed as vero, do some reserch instead of writing your 50 shades of soap posts.
Im suprised you are on the forum and not out fighting crime with youre sleuth colombo type detective skills !
Im glad i make you giggle, but I think most of the people reading this will know your just saying that and are probably marching up and down your bedroom in an embarrassed rage.
Dont answer the question if you dont want to , and if you do please leave out your soap stuff.
