Can ebay link by verifying account even with new sim card
 

Hi Guys!

Can ebay link me if I attempt to verify my mobile phone with same mobile phone I have used to verify a previously suspended account but using a new simcard.

I do not browse on this phone, just a basic £5 phone- all it does is text and messaging, but I wanna be careful they dont collect information such as phone id when they send a text message to me.

In a previous scenario on facebook for example when I verified a phone number on a newly created facebook account, it instantly showed people I may know on my desktop.

So, I think its something we should be careful about if ebay does same.

No. I use the same phone with different sims all the time. Just dont use the Ebay or Paypal apps on that phone, and turn images off for the email clients, just to be sure.

Thanks. Not a phone that does emailing. U know dem £5 phones that does nothing but text and call.

Oh! Its not a mess around, just a minute ritual/sacrifice to the gods of ebay thats worth it.
