Online surveillance, the snoopers charter and future of stealth?
 
Hi all

Just signed up here recently and learning lots...


but what about all this ever increasing watching what we do online?

will this spell the end of stealth in the UK??

I think you are mistaken in your belief that everyone's emails are read. More like a programme scans them for certain phrases or keywords and these may be read once flagged. Think of the number of emails and texts generated daily and ask yourself, how could they all be read!

If your going to send an email with

'get the bombs ready, use bleach and hydrogen peroxide, then get to westminster and let it go, goodbye brother, praise Allah'

Then it would probably get flagged.

Sending, 'thanks for your order, posted tomorrow', probably isn't. :)
