Fulfilment company recommendations/advice
 

Hi, I've been going for quite a while at eBay (just passed my 1 years anniversary haha) and it's going really well overall, doing about £6-7k a month turnover and really only work about an hour a day so really cannot complain!

However I've been looking at expanding more and more, and have been putting a lot of what I make back into the business. My problem is space at home for all the stock, I usually shift about 300+ items a month. So I've been wondering about fulfilment companies, it seems perfect to turn the eBay thing into less of a daily task, and more of a passive income which is really what I'm aiming to do.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? or any advice at all really!

Have you actually used them? I've mainly been looking at shipwire at the moment. Their website doesn't exactly inspire confidence by looking about 5 years out of date haha, and I've had bad experiences working with/relying on Chinese companies before!

Yes, I did/do. I am not a big time seller, but for me they work out well.
They pick up my items from the factory in Shenzhen (for free), ship them over to US, store them and send them to my costumers.

Just to add on, remember its a Chinese company so dealing with them might not be as straight forward as with a western company.

I think I'd give it a miss then honestly based on that alone, definitely rather deal with an English/American company honestly.

Would love to hear from someone from the UK/US that's actually used a fulfilment company if theres anyone out there?

In the UK, I've had a good experience with DMC Distribution. There pricing is very reasonable, the only thing is they aren't great for shipping to the USA, but they aren't bad for just Europe. They use Royal Mail and there's no tracking so it's slow to the USA.

I am using a British fulfillment company owned by Chinese. Have been working with them almost 2 years now and mostly very happy with them.

But the handling fee is a bit expensive.

They can help to ship worldwide.
