How long idling....
 

How long do you think you can create eBay and PayPal accounts and not use them/sign in (building time) before they et suspicious and close it due to inactivity??

years....if ever.

I just logged into a couple account I bought may 2014 for the first time yesterday. I expect issues because of inactive phone numbers when I start listing so I will log in and browse a few minutes over a few days to create some cookies and maybe add a tracfone.

They can sit forever. Its just when you decide to start using them, make sure you start slow and act as if you genuinely are new to ebay and forgot you had an account. You don't want to be listing 20 items for sale etc.

I recently got an email from ebay on two old seller accounts i haven't used in a long time telling me if i didn't log in to the account they would me closing them in 30 days.
I used to open up two accounts per PayPal after a while I would generally just sell on the eBay account that took off. That's what these are basically brother/sister account that I haven't used.

My guess is that it would be at least a couple of years. eBay does not make closing these accounts a priority because they are not causing any issues. Maybe after a few years they would close them. But I had an account I created in 2012 that was not used until 2014 and it was just fine.

Yep, I've made tons of accounts 2-3 years ago that I just sat on for a while till I needed them, never had any problems
