DHL China to UK curently slow??? Sep 2015
 

Hi to fellow Ebay traders!

DHl has been working fast as lightning all Summer, but I have had 3 parcels stuck on 'shipment information received' for 9 days, which is much longer than normal. The supplier will not have run away with the money, as I have been working with her for 8 years and I actually owe her money around 2000 gbp.

My supplier said delay is caused by Victory against Japan celbrations, anyone else in UK having delays from China recently? Its really frustrating as This is my best selling time of the year!

DHL working great for me, usual 3 day from Shanghai and 2 day from Hong Kong

Shipment Information Recieved means the goods have not been collected by DHL yet. Sounds like she has production issues and is blagging it for a while.

lol thanks for the information, Ithought it could mean that its not picked up yet or a 3rd party courier was delivering it to dhl hong kong.

It might be then shes used an economy route?, its different every time she send parcels...she has sent me an order list with all the sizes unless she made it up

If shes using a shipper to get the parcels to DHL location then yes, the problem might be with them.

It only means DHL hasnt received it yet. Mine go direct, DHL pick up from the supplier, costs a little more, but so much quicker.

fast for me, ordered 1 on sunday night, coming tomorrow. Boom love dhl, faster than royal mail uk to uk lol

Ain't that the truth!

Takes longer for Hermes to get a parcel from Birmingham to Liverpool than for DHL to get it from Shanghai to London :)

lol making me jealous now, but don't tempt fate! They have worked for me very quickly too.

Im hoping its because shes used a slow economy line or its local issues, I was asking as I remember this time last year all dhl parcels were dealyed due to a shipment of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ usd dollars being found, and all parcels had to be individualy be checked, shudder

DHL is very reputable company, i don't think it's problem at their side...

My shipment has similar issue, but it is from FedEx which has a lot of delay recently.

yeah china has loads of festivals etc china post was 7 days there for me in july but now its like 14 days, depends on time of year etc but i think china posts 10 million items a day so i will give them a break on this one

Trace it if possible.

Normally 7 working days is the max time for DHL processing , even during Xmas.
