Opened gmail image by mistake

Hi Guys!

Im currently on my work PC which has an ebay account linked to it which is my girlfriends, all up and running and perfectly fine. I have recently started another account with my friend but as ive been banned before on accounts i used on my phone and things liek that i disabled the images on gmail so i can use the email on my phone, anyway bareing in mind im on my PC at work which has only ever been used for my girlfriends account i logged into gmail and accidently clicked on something which opened up images from an ebay email. Will this cause any problems? Im pretty sure it wont as the account linked to the IP im on is healthy but i just want to check :D

Thanks guys

Make sure adobe flash settings is disabled, clear cookies/cache, disable images from being displayed in gmail -> you'll be good to go

Its already logged now.

Once is normally something you can get away with, don't do it again.

Only time will tell now tbh. Good luck.

This update on the OP of this thread seems to suggest it's not a problem.

unless I miss something. But as wired says don't do it again. Better safe than sorry.

I would say not to worry about that at all.

I generally use my stealth account on a separate IP and login for the first month or so and then just use it on my normal PC with all my other accounts.

Because EVERY SINGLE detail is different, Name, Address, Telephone number, etc etc etc having the same IP seems not to make a difference.

I had some accounts get banned, but they are never "Linked", banned for other reasons. The main account which I have that I opened in 2005 is being used regularly on same IP's as stealth accounts and its not banned...

No way back now.
Keep fingers crossed.
Never do this again, and clean history with CC cleaner

As of sometime ago gmail started saving all of the images that you get in your mails on their servers (gmail's). SO if you just clicked 'show images' in your gmail then you are fine but if your clicked one of those images and were taken to ebay page then you created a link.
I hope it makes sense.

Do not worry, I did several times (my bad), but they are safe so far.
