paypal limit theory
 

hi guys,,well he is the story.
a few years ago set a ebay and paypal account up and a year down the line turned it in toa seller account all well and good running for about 2 years no problems staying inside the limits (had bank account attached ) then silly me went over not releasing and the limit came from paypal,,
cannot close account.
cannot withdraw money.
but all others ok.still takes in money.
not when i set the account up did not write the info down yes the DOB,,
i know rookie mistake which i do not make now (fingers crossed ).
well anyway my question is..

how long can this paypal carrie on taking money in from ebay before it gets shut.(i know soon as i put docs in it will be all limited within a few days and hopfully 180 days before money becomes available ).

ps..i pay the fees on credit card not paypal.

A guide I wrote to find the DOB - if you're not subscribed you wont be able to see the thread. Info for you is below.

Also, to lift the limits why don't you give them what they need now that you know the DOB on the account?

Just a quick little guide for any forum members that CANNOT find the DOB that was on the PayPal account.

> Login to your PayPal Account
> Go to the bottom left hand side of the PayPal and click 'Upgrade to a Business Account
> Click 'Upgrade'
> It will ask for a load of information about the business, fill out the first form and click next, your account is still an INDIVIDUAL (personal / premier) account at this point. It is NOT being changed into a business account until all the pages have been completed.
> The next page will appear and at the top it will tell you the DOB currently registered on the PayPal account.
> Note it down then log out the PayPal and when you log back in it will still be personal / premier without having to upgrade.

i do not know the dob..
and upgrading to buisiness acc after the second page ask me for my dob????
the space for dob is blank

Which means you have never entered a DOB into the PayPal..

You obviously clicked 'Sign up' button from eBay when making the PayPal as then it doesn't ask you for a DOB.

What I am trying to say is you can use any DOB now as there isn't one on your account.

i was thinking that ..but could not remember if you had to put the dob in when making the account,
but i did start the ebay account with buying from it and going straight to paypal from ebay..
