Hi guys!
By now you must have read about the upcoming seller updates in 2016. If you have not, then you have woke up to a fairly good news, I have provided the links below. Personally, I see it as a great relief to the hard-working sellers that are constantly been cut short of their dream with the unpopular and devious metrics for defect rates.

The defect rate is changing in Feb 20 2016 and by my interpretation of it, since all your activities from Nov 5 of 2015 will be used in calculating your defect in Feb 20 2016, then, in theory every account opened by 5th of Nov and
MANAGED properly will have lets say 90% chances of not been affected by the current unpopular metric since it takes on average 3 months for account to go down anyway.
Business master class 101.
Ebay is a marketplace and you are bound to come across people of all mannerism - Buyers that will frustrate you, including fraudulent buyers e.t.c
Here is the caveat: Maximum closed cases without seller resolution 0.3% I don't know if this is a mistake. If 3% of 100 is 3 I don't know what 0.3% essentially means. If I am right by that calculation then, it might just be a proverbial ways to tell you to let go and do business professionally. So, if a buyer opens a silly case that you think cannot be resolved otherwise, don't pull any ego, you don't want anything to be in your way to success, just refund and let go.
This also applies to low value items that don't require tracking. Just let go
If ebay could implement this new policy without further changes for the next one year then I don't see anything stopping any serious ebayer from running away with a successful business and possibly a stream of ebay millionaires before the end of 2016.
For me, ebay is now a dependable and serious business for as long as this new policy remains. [I hope it does]
One question in my mind though. Will ebay offer the olive and invite back some of the sellers that have been mis treated by their unpopular defect ratings?
Until then, thanks for reading to the bottom.
I am yours truly, brother from another mother wishing you all success
