Defects appeals

had a few arseholes deliberately open not recieved cases as i didnt leave them feedback

even though they admitted it by msg that they did it for feedback the defect stands, i went on chat they said it will be passed to the appeal department, the idiots who work there dont even look at the details just had out stupid copy and paste emails about how to avoid defects

can anyone advise the best way to appeal defects successfully

Since it got moved from Chat based Manilla, to email based Ireland, its been almost impossible.

Just outline all the details in your message, dates, times, etc and send it to them. Its very doubtful you'll win an appeal

If your a high volume TRS, you get to speak to the customer support team in Ireland direct and they are definitely more helpful but if you get the one toad in there, an Irish bloke who thinks he is gods gift to the world, who will spend three hours telling you how to succeed on ebay and ignoring the reason you called, then you wont get anywhere other than wanting to punch him in the face.

eBay is full of buyers who want to mess you around. The key to success is to understand what they need in order for them to leave you in peace. Then you can block them so they dont buy from you again via blocked bidders list.

I find that bribing Problem Buyers with £5 or £10 in 99% of cases solves any problem.

Getting a feedback removed can sometimes take a long time and you are not earning money while you are on the phone to eBay or on Chat etc.

And eBay will let these problem buyers get away with everything. For example see profile below.

Omg, that buyer is a nightmare. If that happened to me I'll be mad. If you actually read the feedback she gives each seller negative , and theyre all about rings and earrings. Probably some junkie lady scamming users, especially when they're top rated sellers+

Thats one of the worst I've seen. Ive had a couple, newbies, within 4 weeks of opening their accounst they left everyone negative feedback.

Its 3bay, some people set up accounts just to get stuff for free as they will never be banned.

I have to much pride to let them get away with it, which might be my accounts downfall at the end of the day :)
