21 Day Hold Lifted, Sold 11 items 21 day hold again!
 

Hi

I have just had an account pass 90 days yesterday and the 21 day hold was lifted. I listed a few more items. Sold 11 items and all instant funds. Sold another 2 things today and the 21 day hold is back.

Any ideas?

It could be that you did not yet complete the other 2 requirements besides the 90 days , for the US it's 90 days, $250 total sales and 25 sales.

Or it could be PayPal holding the funds, this seems to happen more often, even when EBay lifts the holds , PayPal will place holds

On almost all of my accounts that break 90 days I will get "You got Money" holds from paypal.
There is ways of getting around this. Search threads from last December.

No, all my items are low risk items. Absolutely no vero.

It is Paypal holding the funds. Sales are over £3000 and sales quantity is 150 sales.

They dont usually last very long. A week or two.

Has there been an increase in average value of item since holds lifted, or has the type of item sold changed? Has there been a delay in anything being sent out? Or has anyone given you a low feedback without being a neg or neutral?

Exactly same happend to me, had £300 in pending, and about £1000 had no holds, cashed out all of it, and just before 21 days when £300 had to be released, i received message that I got 21 day holds and have to wait 90 days for future sales...

The items are under one category and vary a lot in price....£1-£350. One low dsr for dispatch time which was in august but operating at Top Rated with no issues, returns, cases etc..

I think the loophole that you and Mr Shark spoke about is the same in my case. I will watch out for the next sale and check pp immediately.

Its hot for a reason.

Lay off it for a bit, or it will come back and hit you in the face further down the line, you'll probably never know why.

There is no loophole as the funds are held straight away.

Did you change the shipping options in Ebay? Did you list RETURNS OK? Did you change shipping speed from 2 days to a longer 4 or 5 or 7 day shipping option?

Ebay likes sellers to list 2 day shipping handling time and using they like to see that you allow returns
