fulfillment centre

I am looking for a fulfillment centre and the prices are not to my liking at all!

Anyone give any tips on prices per item they are paying? Basically I just want to have my fiddly stuff received and then it needs to go to royal mail or myhermes done for me, plus some international.

Right now I have a part time freelancer that helps me, but they are local, and that was a nightmare to find, I need some more help, but not alot more....

btw, please do not offer your services anyone! I want an established place....

UK - NO, no I want an actual fulfillment centre not some guy off this forum!!! This is the LAST place I would hire someone.

I want to know prices of what people are paying to get their stuff received and forwarded.

I know these things are time consuming and you cannot expect too cheap, but the big places are really expensive, so maybe someone knows somewhere more small and personal....

I know that there are a few decent ones in Birmingham, but the name escapes me.

What I found when looking into it is that it only really made sense for small to medium sized items that already had a pretty decent profit margin otherwise the extra cost was just not worth the loss on the ROI % per item

With all the demand, somebody just get the things going and set up one! The chance is out there to make some money and by the looks of it, you'd get a good start with users from this forum.

Re: fulfillment centre

Ive dealt with people here too, mainly on a scratch back basis rather than payment too......

I am not hiring a random someone for real-word stuff though on here, these guys are stealth, I want someone or a company who has never heard of stealth!!!!!

got some recommended leads now though...tried and tested ones....

I was mainly interestd in prices, I did not now what was reasonable or am being optimistic......

Re: fulfillment centre

Hi Guys!

Been thinking of setting up one myself, I started a thread about it a while ago (Refer to the link below) Still doing the feasibility studies and its quite challenging.
http://www.aspkin.com/forums/uk-ebay...el-up-3kg.html

If I would set up a fulfillment center, I would start off by delivering your packages to any location within Manchester Free for the first month while goods to locations other than Manchester will be forwarded to hermes/royal mail and I will charge you 0.50P for doing the packaging of such goods for you (Inclusive of the parcel fee).

Because I have been there, seen it before and know the frustration. After your first month trial, I wont charge you more than £4 for up to 7kg parcel and you wont pay more than £1.50 for smaller parcel that PPI or Franking would have asked you to pay £2.50 for, e.g toothpaste. If you had sold a small parcel for less than £7 then the maximum I will charge to deliver it would be £1.50. It just does not make sense to me otherwise.

I will get on board, pple who have their own cars and willing to do delivery from time to time as they wish. Will utilise our own car to fulfil the excess parcels

I will expand to Birmigham within 2 months, liverpool in 3 months and reach london within 4 months.

If I am able to expand as detailed above within 4 months, then I will willingly stop selling on ebay.

If I have enough interest from people, then I will arrange a one-to-one business meeting with you at your location.

Otherwise, it will remain a dream of mine if no one is interested in exploring my service.

Now, lets put it to test. PM me if you would be interested
