Selling limits went from 5k to 50k items a month
 

So I have a 4 year old ebay account now, my selling limits have been 2500 items a month for the last 3 years.

Last month I decided to risk calling ebay and asking for an increase (it's a stealth account), they agreed and raised it to 5000 items a month which I was very pleased with.

And just now I received an email saying they have given me a selling limit of 50,000 items a month which I cannot quite believe.

Is that sort of thing normal? I'm not complaining I just can't quite believe it.

I'm going to list a **** ton more items but I'm going to do slowly over the next month.

That completely contradicts the thread title... but yes congrats you need to go slow otherwise that will come down on top of you.

Get other accounts going ASAP.

Happens quite a bit especialy when everything is going well.

With that being said it is easily a TRAP, so dont over extend yourself and offer poor service or loose track of inventory etc... because it is really easy to fall below standards and never get out of it when they lower the limits

So, keep doing whatever you have been doing!
