Default Just a quick check before I start selling again......

I've set up a couple of new seller accounts with verified paypal accounts following the advice on here. Before I use them can anyone confirm that if I use different user accounts on my PC, one for each of my ebay/paypal and reboot my router inbetween logging in to ebay/paypal that this will be enough to stop ebay linking the accounts either together or too my previously suspended accounts.Rebooting gives me a different ip address everytime.I have already done all the clearing cookies etc, but I don't want to constantly have to clear all cookies and personal data each time I swap accounts on the pc so I'm hoping that someone has experience of this and can confirm that from a clean start, a simple reboot of the router and a separate PC account will be enough............cheers

PC User Accounts + Dial Up = Well working eBay accounts.

------
Please add your location and your flag to your account here.
eBay/Paypal rules vari by country.
Go to your "User CP" and list your location.
This helps since eBay/Paypal Rules are different by country.
Thanks

seen a few walk thrus on forum re ip change but not sure about individual isp, only way to find out if your ip changes is to test it, by switching off, or unplugging router and seeing if changed using whats my ip or some such site.

In a lot of cases,if you look underneath your router you should see a "http" address and a username and password. This will get you into your router settings. You can see your current ip address etc in the menu From there you can access a reboot option, this will let you reboot and if your internet provider gives you a new ip address you can see straight away. Also this can be done without having to switch off at the plug or at the router, so is a good way to do it if your wireless and sitting at your laptop. Saves a lot of time when switching from account to account.

Hi

I use tiscali broadband and the IP address IS dynamic - so everytime I reboot the router my IP address changes - very useful!
