Virtual Credit Card query

Hey all

I've been searching for this on the forums and of course the stealth guide, but I just wanted further clarification on a couple of things to make sure I 100% understand

Regards to the VCC - could somebody please clarify in simple terms a) why we do this and b) at what stage do we use this

Am I correct in thinking I use a VCC to link my actual bank details, and then use the details gained through the VCC to register with ebay and paypal? So in a way we are hiding behind the VCC (if that makes sense?)

I'm sure this is a fairly simple process but it's the one thing holding me back as for some reason I can't get my head around it!

Many thanks in advance

Re: Virtual Credit Card query

The VCC is just to confirm your address & it's part of the verification process.

Re: Virtual Credit Card query

so it is used to verify paypal, or ebay too?

Re: Virtual Credit Card query

You can't use a real Visa card on PayPal as they will see the owner and address for the card so u create a VCC one on entropay and use that to verify PayPal instead
The bank account you use is real info as PayPal cannot check the name and address linked to it

Thx
Steve

its for verification purposes for paypal.

so you are using it for ebay? try using enteropay. or you can just buy from the sellers here.

Account Services (MISC) - eBay Suspension & Paypal Limited Forums

or if you are planning to sell on amazon, it works slightly different, try asking around for amazon sellers. im happy to answer any questions if you have any. :)

all the best!

Well if you posted statements that were 100% correct, then I wouldn't have to point out that they were not fully correct or indeed incorrect, would I?

Here's a revolutionary idea.....how about just making sure something you post is actually true before posting it? I guess your post count would only be 10% of its' present total if you did that though. :FF:

Not totally correct is not an answer and doesn't explain anything to anyone so carry one

Yes, quite right, I am a nobody.

That would be the whole point of stealth. :thumb:
