Default Halifax Bank Account and Saver

Hi all

I have a Halifax current account which I plan to use to create a new eBay Stealth account

Am I able to open a savings account with Halifax and use this account to set up another separate eBay Stealth account?

Many thanks

Hi
I use a Halifax current account on one of my stealth accounts and its been as good as gold, Saver account is no good to use,

If you want another current account to use try RBS/Natwest same peeps, Santander, Barclay's all good for stealth accounts never had issue with these.

Nonsense, Halifax online savers are fine for stealth, work like a dream for me.

Then you are doing something wrong.

Halifax savers, like Natwest Savers, are a stealthers wet dream. If you have had issues, then I suggest you look at your techniques and not just make some vague, blanket statement dismissing them.

Yes you can use a saver, paypal will see nothing to connect these accounts. Only the sort code will be the same in their eyes.

Yes I note you posted this and similar multiple times. You do though seem to be very much in a minority of experienced stealthers to have an issue here.

It would be nice if you could give some background and facts to qualify your statements. If a newbie came on here and made such a statement without backing it up with facts they would rightly get a bit of stick. Just because you are an experienced account seller, I don't think you should be allowed to make such uncorroborated claims either.

Makes no odds if I am a minority - I do nothing different in stealth to anyone else on this forum.

I can make FACTUAL CLAIMS THAT HAVE HAPPENED (how do you exactly plan on corroborating my story..?! I don't just type for fun) whereas others come on here with no experience just trolling. I've already explained in another thread a while back what happened although I won't be going into detail but mismatch names are problematic and eventually you WILL have issues and I firmly believe that down the line in years to come that mismatch names (personal and premier accounts) will become a problem.

Easy workarounds for that though if it did happen.

Since nobody knows EXACTLY what every other stealther is doing all of the time, this is impossible to state as a fact.

We are not talking about personal and premier, the topic is savers. Just because you have had issues with your accounts because you may have made errors, doesn't mean an experienced stealther running theirs in a proper manner will.

I wasn't talking about savers. You asked about my experience with Halifax and I went onto further my point by saying that I believe that mismatch names in the future will be a problem.

When I said nothing different to others with stealth I meant - we all withdraw under mismatch names and that is the issue here.

Also, I never said that we all do the same is a fact but what is a FACT is we withdraw under mismatch names. The factual claims I make are my own experience, so yes that is fact.

This is good to know, I've made a Halifax account especially but I have a Saver I could have used with Natwest instead!

Is there anything that requires to be done differently as it is a saver or is the process as per the Stealth Book the same?

I read somewhere that as it is a saver account, there will be an issue with a direct debit mandate? If you could kindly explain it would be greatly appreciated, cheers

You add the saver to verify the account and then remove the saver (this cancels the direct debit thing) and then just hit withdraw to add it again.

Think thats right, I'm too lazy to bother making my own accounts but read it here lol

Don't make things more complicated than they have to be.

Absolutely no need to remove the saver and re add it, just leave it on. You will still be able to withdraw to it perfectly fine as long as you practice safe stealth techniques.

You will get a message a few days later saying something along the lines of '...your bank has let us know you cant use your account ending xxx...' etc....but just ignore it. Done this over a period of time on 20+ savers from natwest, halifax and boi and had no issues whatsoever. I would certainly be inclined to make the case that this makes the stealth look a more 'natural' account than someone who uses the 'add account, remove account, re-add same account' method.

It is also worth remembering that on Halifax and Natwest there is the ability to easily open 3 or 4 savers on the main accounts, over time, even if that 'main bank account' is paypal blacklisted.

Halifax accounts are too sensitive. Unless the accounts are is in you own name I would not go anywhere near them if using stealth accounts.

I think ,(hope), there are some crossed wires here.

Are you suggesting Mark that Halifax only works with you for 'stealth', by still using your own name or a variation of it?
