When to lift 1900 paypal limit on registration or when you reach limit?
 

Just wondered what people's thoughts were, When to attempt to lift the 1900 paypal limit, on registration or when you reach limit?

Or is that risking you be banned before you've even began if paypal aren't happy with the is docs?

1800 range id say use the paypal before attempting to lift

From the start if you can I would say makes it look more legit I think, If your going to use the paypal account why would you leave it till the last moment to lift the limit,

That's my personal view of course.

whats the time frame to lift limits when submitting papers?

Papers get reviewed quicker once you receive email from PayPal saying you've reached limit

It is easier to use the account up to the limit so you make use of that account, docs can and are often rejected, you submit them at the start and they get rejected youve lost time, expense and waited months to be checked.

Use the account, withdraw everything slowly before you hit the EU limit, put sales on hold, let one go though to passs over the limit, then submit. Takes around three days then and if they get rejected you've only lost say £30.

I went over the limit last week and submitted docs over the weekend.

Do PP look closely at what you've been selling?

I didn't think about this and have been recently selling items that could be considered risky/vero.

The account is in very good standing, no cases or negatives etc etc - but will they go through it with a fine tooth comb, or do they just look at it from a high level??

Paypal were so easy with lifting limits before. You would upload docs and they would lift limits within a day. However from my experience now you have to call them and trigger them to look at the docs. If you have a good agent on the other side they usually acknowledge the docs right away and lift you limits.

I've read that calling them can be a bad mistake... if you get the wrong agent whose having a bad day.

It is wrong to call them and yes they do review the items you sell which can then trigger for them to ask for other forms such as suppiers invoices etc, or just limit you there and then
If you can get it all submitted in the early days then its lts less complications..IMO
But as said above you can sell up to the 1900 limit before risking the account.

Also to add I had to wait over 3 month for docs to be reviewed on an account no where near to the threshold limit

Thanks for this - so best to start baking these accounts way into the future, or just sell up to the limit then leave till the next year trips over.

The problem with having loads of accounts up to or near the limit is the amount of bank accounts you'd need to setup....

I have had no problems whatsover at sending documents before any activity has been made. In fact, nearly all of my accounts have been done this way.

Think of it this way, if you were setting up your account, why wouldnt you follow all the steps on paypal to get it fully verified? You are only doing what it asks right?

not set up my stealth paypal yet, but on my old paypal account i never had to send them any documents and i was turning over 100k+ a year, i had to submit my tax number but that was it. so what documents do they require? and i thought u became fully verified once you told them the small two deposits they make into ur bank accont? am i missing something here? cheers

i lift the limits only when i deem the account profitable to justify the cost
