Current account Vs Savings account
 

Hi guys

Just wondering which guys you tend to open?

Ive just opened up my credit report on experian and it shows all my RBS current accounts and my Nattiest current account however it does not show my savings account.

Does it really make a difference?

Would it be better to close these accounts and open more savings accounts so they don't affect credit report?

OK let me get this out here first.......many, good established stealthers.....and steviebills...

Well, they kind of look down on savings accounts and say they are nothing but trouble.

Personally, I think you use savings and after that basic accounts before using any stealth current accounts because IMO they leave a much smaller footprint and offer far more flexibility.

Yes, they are a subcategory of current account. Striped down in both features and risk, which is one of the reasons like I said that they leave a smaller footprint. There may well be an argument from some who feel full current accounts are too sensitive to use mismatched names for stealth, yet when using basic or savers accounts they feel mismatched names work fine.

Savings accounts are fine.

They fund a check on you, but they do not leave a footprint in the same way that current accounts do.

If you can get them basic accounts are really great, but they are in much more limited supply.
