returns advise needed
 

Hi,

I sold an item to a customer about 4 months ago and buyer decided to return it due to being faulty. I asked the customer to return within 14 days for a full refund. However i heard nothing for about 3 months and then the buyer wanted to return the item for a refund out the blue. I agreed and asked to return the item to my alternative return address, not my stealth address, which has been completed. Because 60 days has elapsed, there is no refund button on paypal and since been removed. A case is open for me to refund which i'm happy to do but, paypal is asking the buyer to return the item back to me with proof of postage before the refund can be completed. The return address on the paypal case is my stealth address but i have set it to my alternative address in paypal which is not showing So can't complete the refund and close the case. i don't understand why my returns address is not in the drop down option. I have until the 6th november or paypal will favour the buyer. Any ideas!

If you need to add a return address , go to My eBay, than click account, and in the summary page find the Addresses link, and you can add as many return addresses and ship from addresses as you like and they will than be on the drop down menu

Hi,
The return address is already added as my post from and return to address. But the paypal case will only let me use my registered stealth address as my returns address. No other option available. Post from and return to is showing correctly in my addresses.

its a must do now with all ebay business a return address has to be added
