I set up a stealth ebay account,
I used ccard option to pay ebay fees with entropay [uk]
new IP/name/address/sim/profile/etc

I have 00.00 limits and have not even setup paypal, should i call them? or have i slipped up

Set up Paypal. Add a bank to Paypal.

Press the "Request Higher Selling Allowance" link. Follow instructions and your limit will be increased to 10/£650.

LOL....this is also false. I make my eBay accounts before PayPal, and I don't get 0/0...

US accounts all day everyday. I'm fairly certain UK doesn't require PayPal first though....

As advised put in a savings a/c nwest

i am getting a message

"PayPal will use your bank information as a way to confirm your identity."
"You cannot link a bank account at this time."
there is a continue button which reverts back

any ideas much appreciated

add bank account to PayPal- request higher seller limits.

On my 40/2000 limit account, the only option I seem to have on clicking on requesting higher limits is to move over to a business account, this account is still personal and am all but up to the 40 item limit, no where near the £2000 but that does not seem to make any difference.

The "Request Higher Selling Allowances" only gives the option to upgrade to business because you've already had at least one previous increase.

If your items and supplier are legit, you should go onto live chat and request a higher allowance.

Just bare in mind that if you are using the account to resell items then they may insist that you upgrade to business first.

I have added bank account to paypal, still 0 limit,
Is there any preference in calling or live chat and should i be wary of anything, i have not provided a dob anywhere are they likely to ask for this

items are low risk legit

Has the bank account been confirmed or have you just added it?

If it's been confirmed, then keep trying the request higher limit process. Both eBay and PayPal can be glitchy as hell. It takes perseverance and patience.

Absolutely the same story from yesterday. PayPal fixed, verified, even limits already lifted, came mail from eBay "your account is now ready to start selling" but allowance still 0/0
CONFUSED !! It was my first stealth account ever so somewhere I must make a mistake.
Any idea?

got stupid question, is it ok to go and create eBay account before VCC is verified (only bank account added)?

Yes but didn't happened anything except taking me to dialog "thank you for interest we will let you know later"
Weird, there isn't even visible the allowance in the summary tab. This should be visible even if the allowance is 0/0 or not?

it usually goes to 10/650, is that not the case after you linked your PP (must be verified). Next you go to request more it will take you to a continue button where you are asked to log into paypal, you do that, and it returns you to ebay, ten-fifteen min later you have 10/650. If not i would try making another acc :pry:
