Virgin media IP ?
 

This is my first thread guys, so I apologize If it isn't in the right category.

I was a genuine seller on ebay (i mean i wasn't using stealth lol) and I was selling some BRANDED items .. I was unaware of stealth accounts by that time, so I got my paypal account limited and my ebay account wasn't limited surprisingly .. I want to start working with stealth accounts now and sell again on ebay. I have found a very good supplier, I opened up a new bank account with Metro Bank, new phone number, email address so I think im somewhat, ready but the problem is - I cannot change my IP. I am using Virgin media braodband and my address is static I think. I am using the Virgin Media box, so I haven't got a modem or anything else. I tried resetting it and other things, but It stays the same (i check on whatsmyipaddress.com). How do you guys think I should change it, will buying a modem make it work? Any ideas please..

I'm on Virgin as well and if you follow the guide, you'll be golden.

I've run this setup for almost a year now and I've not had any problems- I just bought a Netgear router thingy for £8 and just change the MAC address.

Keep the IP addresses recorded and you'll have no problems at all.

Just use mobile broadband dongle. I couldnt be bothered with all that faff with the router. :)

I am on virgin but always tethered and disconnected/reconnected for new ip, worked on different accounts

Pick up the internet box and kick it out the window, then get bt.

BT also have a lot of static IPs so you may well just have the same issue

well kicking it out the window may provide momentary satisfaction but probably won't solve anything
