Do you report unscrupulous sellers?
 

So a competitor of mine is selling un official items, they are in no way licensed or endorsed. Normally this wouldn't bother me as I sell other items that don't compete with his so I have been willing to let it be.

However he has now started selling items identical to mine and undercutting me, in fact the only way I can see he could make any profit is if he doesn't pay any tax. He's also duplicated listings so he floods the search results which I believe is another violation

I looked into what he's selling and I can see at least 36 blatantly VERO items, I'm very tempted to report him but being a nice guy I feel bad about it.

Would you guys report him?

These reports are useless. You better spend your time developing your own business.

Nah I would just leave him alone. If you report someone then they can always do the favour in return. Maybe he won't report you but he can damage your feedback quite easily. And as it says in the good book, don't fight with other ebayers.

Like the others have said concentrate on ur own game and dont worry dont any body elses its ebay and theyl always b competition fact!!!! Just get in with it and you'l be reet

All good advice.

I'm not to bothered about him listing VERO but it's the duplicate listings that really bother me. It means my products are just drowned out in search results with his 5 identical items sitting near the top. Just bugs me.

Competition is always ther is an open marketplace just lower ur price if ur that bothered :)

I wish I could lower the price but then I wouldn't make any profit. That's the problem with eBay these days. Everybody lowers the price and makes no money.

Never mind, onwards and upwards I guess.

so your stuff is official? well, just state yours is official and make a big play on that......there will people who will go for quality....

the bottom line is he is not really allowed to say it is unofficial....

They will implode eventually. Don't make unnecessary wars and don't waste you precious time worried about others. You hardly ever hear a corporation complain the reason they failed is the competition. It is usually something within....
