How will 2d Barcode affect Franking and PPI,

parcel thresholds that are slightly over can be put in a lower bracket without too much fuss, eg small parcel as large letter

will 2d barcode put an end to this?:spy:

you dont want to be fiddling with your post with royal mail, many cases have popped up with royal mail pursuing fraud cases against them for this very reason. rumour has it babz media owes 15m to royalmail for this very reason.

yeah think so, I'm going back on drop n go if thats the case, only thing that makes their pittance discount worthwhile

Only rumours, although i agree with your sentiment.
Royal mail merely closed their accounts, what was outstanding were outstanding debts
babs was done for by environment agency.

I know many who use RM business accounts. the unwritten code is that the Plus should balance with the Minus.

if you are sending 100 parcels all small parcels threshold and expect to get away with, is delusional

however if you have a few that are over and a few that are under then they cancel each other, never had a problem

my question is will 2d eliminate this 'occasional' leeway

I heard of people buying the pre paid eBay code then copying it to photo shop and changing the adress

Would that even be possible? One of the objective for the barcode is to track the parcel, if you buy the code, wouldnt many people be using the same "barcode"?

That's messing around with fraud indeed
