Promotional Offers

It seems that they are running full blown desperado mode now- I get at least 1 or 2 promotional offers each week on my accounts- Some offer 25% off final value fees and the latest one that I got this morning is the 75% final value fees.

Now, the question is- Once I want to take part in the offer and click "sign me up for it" button, does it affect my account in any shape or form, can I be linked or something else creepy?

I know its a foilhat type of question, but with these things I'm always suspicious and act like a jew back in 1939 when they told me that my family won a free holiday.... You get what I'm saying.

Re: Promotional Offers

I am a little suspicious with offers, there is always a some kind of catch
e.g. when you open a new account you normally get a £$5/10 voucher to spend, now as you dont have a balance in your paypal and funds will be held for up to 90 days etc, if you attempt to use the voucher the balance is taken from paypal, paypal withdraws from your B account BAM now they have authority to access a/c details...

having said that clicking on links considering you apply all stealh rules should not be cause of concern, just read the T&c...

Re: Promotional Offers

Its quite obvious that they are trying to get more people to sell, as their numbers are most likely down- otherwise they wouldn't run these last minute promotional offers just after/during last days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday stuff.

The whole voucher thing doesn't really bother me, but 75% off final value fees is a good deal- I don't mind paying the fascists a bit less.

ho ho ho

Personally I think your right seller numbers must be down - they are also back doing TV ads as well.. I always stay away from any sign up - keep everything on the downlow.. I dont even leave bad feedback incase it gets reviewed

Nothing wrong with using the promo vouchers for PayPal. It will know the overall cost of the price of the item in question.

You can also take them up on their X% off offers. It doesnt give them special powers if you use them :)
