Used DVDs.... buy a job lot of 100 for £20-30 and sell for 99p with free postage on buy-it-now. You will have your feedback very quickly.

I find dollar store items to be the best for this purpose.
And DVDs in general I find to be a tad high risk.

I use a lot of dollar store items myself also shipping supplies, are good, I just sell what I have already purchased in bulk like Labels, bubble mailers, etc and just sell small quantities.

One thing about dollar store items I been getting , not much but at least one feedback out of 100 I'll have some idiot say " found This at dollar store PURCHASE THERE"

It was a positive feedback but what a moron, and I almost always give them away and never make profit from them, their sole purpose is to create transactions and get some positive feedback .

That sale like most dollar items I sell was $2.05. Which covers the cost for a 3oz Postage. I guess buyers think we do not pay postage or eBay or PayPal fees.

how do you guys process shipments?

i mean say you are receiving orders constantly how are you meant to be on top of sending it out / what if youre out in the post office and then 5 more come in before the cut off and then they complain about not receiving it the next day?

would the easiest way be to get a courier to come to your house everyday?

how do you guys do it?

Absolute rubbish.

Just make sure the stuff you buy is decent and never, ever, grade above good, unless still in wrap.

Disagree strongly, for UK at least.

Sold at least 3k of them to set up around 20 accounts the last 12 months. Never had an issue, never a negative, or a return.

Selling new and wrapped DVDs may well be different, but used??.....seriously no issue at all IMHO.

We are missing the point here... OP asked "Best low risk categories to build feedback as seller"...

I would sell that "stationery" should not give any problems. Always sell low values items.

...and, yes, I agree that DVDs are dangerous. No matter if second hand or sealed. Try to sell Disney DVDs around Christmas. I remember last year it was an "ecatombe"

Agree with you on that.

Used, authentic DVDs are perfectly okay so long as the condition is correctly described.

What isn't a good idea (but what many people on here seem to interpret as being okay) is selling the usual Breaking Bad / Game of Thrones boxsets imported from China.

Have you not been reading the thread, dvds are a bad place to start. Some people will post anything to get their post count up:faint:

Oh the irony of your post.:FF:

Really there is no issue with used DVDs to get up the feedback, if you run your stealths correctly.

The issue comes, for example, when you go from selling them on auctions from 1p start to selling £400 mobiles with no evolution of the account in between. :thumb:
