Stealth at my own address

Can I make another stealth account at my address with a different name? Obviously, other people will live at this address so I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed as I could just get the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ docs made.

I won't be doing any selling, just buying. I need delivery to my home address so I can load Entropay and fund my PayPal account.

Does anybody do this with any problems?

Yes you can do that and buying from eBay has never been an issue.

I have another "buyer only" account strongly linked to the suspended one and I use it without any problem.

Buyers accounts are generally left alone.

You only encounter issues when you come to sell.

Using a completely made up name, you will encounter issues if your parcel gets taken to the royal mail sorting office. You need an id of that person to pick up their mail. You'd have to rearrange delivery online to a day you're in to overcome this.

agreed, you can get a redelivery so no need to pick up.

you should be fine with buying, plus if you do get banned, which is unlikely, who cares anyway....

Re: Stealth at my own address

home address for buying is ok, they will however link this to a suspended former account, if that was at the same address, without repercussions, so although tainted the account can be used.

where you have to be careful is not to link any future selling stealth a/c to this one. if it gets linked the new stealth will go down even though the buyer account remains.

Thanks guys.

Has anybody just tried setting up a new account in the same name and just use it solely for buying?

I hav 2 buyer accounts in my own and my wifes real name and address. Both limited previously, no issues at all, 3 years strong

My account - which i used to buy and sell with - got banned years ago.
After reading on here i could set up a new account but only buy with it I did so. I used all the same info as my banned account and have been left alone to buy items, The buying account is about two years old now with over 100 feedback.
A couple of months ago i attempted to sell on it - out of curiosity. I listed an item for a month and it stayed on for that whole month. However when I tried to relist it I was not allowed and eBay told me to contact them. I'm still using it to buy with.

Re: Stealth at my own address

oh my god... this is the best news i've ever had.

i didn't know you could even do this. i have used a stealth account for one purpose, to buy phone parts. i repair smartphones and have a small shop. sadly, in order to get funds in my ebay i had to sell. i had loads of old stock from my ebay days so did need to get rid of some but now i don't.

throughout the years i've been limited i always said i dont care about selling all i want to do is spend my own money on their site, i have no interest in selling stuff anymore.

thanks everybody!!

How do you mean?
A temporary selling suspension?

Or buying suspension?

i did not pay fees, the fees were like £5 or something. i don't even think they suspended me but keep asking for the £5 or they will limit it.

tbh i've made that many different accounts i'm not sure.

i don't think it would ever be a buying suspension though

Best way is too arrange a po box address as a returns address then have p.o box company divert to your home address. royal mail are the most expensive but there are others much cheaper for a starter of 3 months fee if u like
