IP address changing for multi accounts??

Hello there,

I have one more question about IP address changing here!

So, for those ebayers who have couples of ebay and paypal accounts, do you register all these accounts in the same city or different? Ok, if same, that would be easy to change your IP for each account.

but what about if I register in different cities? because I think this looks like more real and reliable, if I list same or similar stuffs on each account, right? however, how to manage IP problems, to change IP to match each account in this way?? Does ebay or paypal really care this IP problems, if I register in different city??

So, how you guys with many accounts to solve out this problems?? Could you please share something??

Many thanks in advance, and good luck for all your business!

Cheers

This questions suggests you have not read too much. It is not for us to tell you what or how to have accounts. There are methods here for you to work out for yourself. Recommend you go to the sub-forum here 'Ebay tracking' & read. There are also many other threads that are informative.

If you are talking dynamic broadband IP for your PC, you dont have to be in same city, ip address is not that specific, check your various ips available on the map under whatsmyipaddress, sometimes youve got over 50miles leeway. Some come up very specific, ie arrow hovers just over your city or it quite a way out, depends on the range of your ISP.

usually the best option i have found is to you a connection though your cell phone data and tether. This will give you a new ip every time you connect.

also you can do this with a broadband data card.

not always, i use a blackberry to tether and it will give you the same ip address every time you connect, unless you remove the battery and restart the phone.

just something to think remember

I have the G2 (t mobile phone) too & im having a problem tethering.

Im using PDAnet. Ive tried to disconnect the battery, turn off wifi, turn off the mobile network (then turn it back on), and restarting the whole phone.

Every time I do this and check my ip address, Its the same!

I have two separate accounts and this would be very helpful.
