My wife is Chinese and she has had no problem opening accounts with Barclays, Natwest, Santander, TSB, Nationwide, Halifax, HSBC and Lloyds. You do have to visit the branch with your passport and proof of address.
So, as long as you are a UK resident, you should be ok. |
