What happen if an ebay payment is defaulted
 

Hi Guys!

What will happen if ebay fee is defaulted by a stealth account. I know for a normal account, there will be another attempt in 7 days or so but knowing stealth as it is that the VCC on file at PayPal will not be able to pay the fee.

Does the ebay/PayPal account automatically get suspended or do I still get another chance.

gets suspended 30 days later (when your next bill is due) until you pay

Seriously. 30 days later? I thought it get suspended instantly because they find out your credit card is not working

I dunno, I've paid late/not paid a few times and never had that, still let me sell up to 30 days later

I am aware of 30 days but I wanted to know if a STEALTH account will get toss if ebay payment failed at first attempt.

mine were stealth and all fine, don't really like answering with a 'no' incase yours turns out different lol

no stealth is not auto suspended if vcc fils or not enough balance.

registration gets suspended around month 2 and then you get an email about 2 weeks after that saying pay balance due and you can get reinstated...and usually it is still ok at that point......Ive just read this directly from the notifications on a stealth acc email..

on this account I left a balance and then did not log in to check as thought it was ok, but it was not enough due to an oversight and got reversed and so they tried my vcc which was empty......but I just paid it and it seems ok at the mo..........this is for sales ending back in early October.....

Why would it make a difference if it is stealth? How does ebay know it is stealth?

ALL ebay accounts handle unpaid balances the same way. No special rules for any accounts.

no dont think op is avoiding, just wants to know if he gets another chance.....

maybe he is worried an empty vcc is a flag........but it isnt, which I agree is strange but anyway as long as you pay it later but not too late, it is ok..........its all automated....

I have had accounts here and there that did not get paid in time so my selling listings were blocked - I then paid off the amount due promptly and I could list again within 1 min...

i can guarentee you get over 30days as it happened to me, i was suspended for 30 days, didnt pay fees in that time, got lots of emails sent, when selling was reinstated in paid them and started selling
