| Dporter100 | 01-14-2016 05:26 AM | 3g dongle vs 24vc Hello I have been using a 3g dongle for the past 3 months on my eBay account, which is doing very well I might add. Thanks to everyone on the forum. My question is I would like to start using 24c as it will take the logistics and headache out of using a dongle. I am a little concerned doing this from what I understand I have built up cookies with this account using my dongle, and I don't want it o flag anything.
Your advice would be much appreciated, all the best

| just_smile | 01-14-2016 05:29 AM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc Changing to 24vc will be fine. You still use the same user account so your cookies won't change.
Just make sure you choose the fresh ip plan. You don't want recycled ips.
123 will be able to help you. You can find his thread in the marketplace if you have any questions. |

24vc is cheaper in the long run | so just use one 4g dongle and eveytime you login to your ebay accounts on diff user accounts just make sure you get a new ip address from the vpn eveytime you login to ebay?
sounds pretty simple.
ust checked site and they do offer uk servers.
anyone know if they have any lag? or speed issues? also the "garaunteed fresh ip" has anyone truley verified this by noting down ips for a while?
sounds lieka good option.
thanks |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-18-2016 11:59 AM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc They offer a lot of countries IPs
There is a full list here > 24vc |
| screwbay | 01-18-2016 12:11 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc is this fully garanteed guys? anyone take the time to verify thier claims? thanks |

| zane786 | 01-18-2016 12:19 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc why not just have a broadband connect in your office and run the 24vc with 5 fresh ip address which works out cheaper than 1 3g dongle :D |

24vc although does keep it a lot simpler for newer users as it's 1 IP per account and it's more streamlined for sure.
Logging IP's and forgetting is a factor when you want to concentrate on keeping a solid account going. |

24vc is cheaper in the long run | ??? I could get brand new mobile phones with enough 3g on them to run stealths for the same price as 24vc.
I think they're just reselling another service and taking the pi ss to be honest, not sure how they've got such a good rep on here but no more proof they issue fresh IPS as anyone else does |
| onlinehelpneeded | 01-22-2016 01:34 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc i have a mobile phone plan, !5gb of data but connection wont be as strong as vpn
also price is a lot higher
vpn is a lot easier |
| vetus | 01-22-2016 01:48 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc Dongles are so much easier.
Pull out, plug back in.. :) new IP each time, 4G fast net speeds. No issues. £20 per month for 10GB. |
| onlinehelpneeded | 01-22-2016 02:02 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc depends on your location, 3 is best value for money but some locations have poor signal. Also 10gb doesnt go far.
Whatever you decide ensure you track your ip addresses |
| vetus | 01-22-2016 02:14 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc 10GB does go far if you use it just for eBay & PayPal. Im making loads and loads of accounts on 10GB...not even touching 10GB, I probably use 10GB combined across 2 dongles. |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-22-2016 03:49 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc You still get repeat IPs with dongles and in a lot of 4G areas the IP range is very limited
Not all areas also get 3G and 4G
VPN is very very good and personally I like them a lot, but dongles can work assuming that
A - You have a decent IP range
B - You track the IP carefully
C - You have good signal
If you want to just never worry about the IP then a VPN is the way to go |

even better to use one dongle/network combo per ebay account.
but this makes the cost higher in which case FRESH IP vpn is a better choice |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-23-2016 08:35 AM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc You can still get repeats if your using the same ISP even when using different dongles |

If you want to just never worry about the IP then a VPN is the way to go | I use both of them
But it gets time consuming when we disconnect each time the Dongle
I like more VPN- But in my case i can't find VPN for my country so i have to use the dongle.
If had the chance to have a VPN From my own country i will use VPN |

maybe even one dongle with multiple networks would be enough too. |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-23-2016 04:07 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc Dongles are generally linked to a network unless locked. You would then have to faff about with swapping SIMs over
I would be cheaper to use 24vc than that though |
| zane786 | 01-29-2016 01:14 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc the dongles are a scam
you use them for a month meant to be £20 but ends up being a bill of £60
its just another contract scam
also if you want to cancel subscribtion you will have to pay for 1 whole month before you can cancel
24vc best option |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-29-2016 01:19 PM | Re: 3g dongle vs 24vc You can cap your monthly usage
If you go over your monthly data and keep using it they will charge you for it
Phone them and tell them that when your data runs out you dont want them to give you credit and they will stop that happening | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:24 AM. | |
