Similar passwords?

Do you think eBay can track and link if passwords are 100% different but a similar style/pattern?

Mine are far too unique to ever be linked but just wondering...

I allow my computers to generate a completely random password each time.

Just a thought for rememberance

I don't think so. Passwords are usually encrypted inside the server where are stored and cannot be easily decrypted.

But, why take the risk, I suggest to make all passwords unique. :thumb:

I just type some random keys on my keyboard,7-8 times, there's my password. Everything else is on a spreadsheet anyways.

By the time this thread has been answered you could of mixed up 5 or 6 letters / numbers and got a new password...

i use all the same passwords, have got stealths over a year old and never had an issue. They are more interested in IPs, Cookies, Addresses etc.

Why go to all the effort of making everything totally new and then use the same password on all accounts...

Due to how they encrypt passwords chances are it would be fine, but why take that risk?
