Hi I have created few steath accounts last months, already sold to limits, Should I just wait till 90 days or try to call eBay and get it increase? Thanks a lot

Just sell to the limits each month and you will get automatic increases :) Generally I find that this works best in the UK

If you're comfortable calling eBay then do so.

Just have your stealth information at hand. They usually only really ask you your name.

Bare in mind if you do ring, you may get asked for ID and suppliers details + invoices.

It does not always happen, but its a pretty large %

Confidence in a phone call is key, you will have a time where you need to call so get ready for that. Also, make sure your birthday coincides with how you sound on the phone, big mistake people make.

i usually just do it via live chat every 3-4 weeks and ive got plenty accounts now sitting with 100/3500

Or you could get 100/3500 when creating the account so you don't need to go on chat. Type of card used as reimbursement method plays a lot on the limits you get, along with the choice of phone number. Lots of reps won't do it anymore they ask you to call Selling Limits Team to discuss business goals.

Thank you so much. I will start try different card. I usually set up automaticly payment method as PayPal. Should i change the method to card? Thank you once again, its big help to me

I've had a female call in and SO MUCH better results.. like seriously. I've had PP limitations lifted. Accounts out of suspension. The impossible has been done with a flirty girl on the other end. So that is not a joke!

But it is really up to you. Personally I just had a 100/5000 account get an automatic increase in about 2 weeks up up to double that. Just do good selling, build up feedback, and it will happen automatically.

get them on live chat at 11.50pm...just before their shift finishes.... they will not care what you type as long as it doesn't hold them up from getting home

They dont generally finish for about 30 mins past 12. I know as I have kept them up a a while a few times!

live chat is just live messaging ??? this is how i usually would get an increase in listings... or have i misunderstood?

also... the live chat is only open until 12pm (it tells you on the pop up)...

There's no set time. Automatic increases can be applied as quickly as within a few hours of listing your first items. Normally an account will get an automatic increase after the first month of selling (so long as limits are being maxed).

Impossible to say myrong, can be any length of time that they see fit to give you, maybe 1 month, maybe quite a bit longer. Some members on here reported being stuck on low limits for ages, so just been advised to make or buy new accounts to spread their limits that way.

thanks guys its an old account. Has sold some @@@@ no violations in years so was hoping for an automatic increase after three months. This will be the second month of maxing out limits.

I have the option of business upgrade but don't want to do it.

Sorry to be so dim ? Do you mean the type of card added to ebay account for paying fees ?

To be honest i generally set fees paid by paypal. So do you mean if a card is added to the ebay account when seller account setup you get higher limits ?

I usually phone in, but as other have said, be sure to only do so if you fit the demographic of your account. no point a 30 year old man calling in pretending to be a 19 year old girl.

I hope you told them you wanted to open at least a dozen stealth accounts a month and sell to the limits each month whilst opening more and more accounts:)

thanks for this just got my limits increased to 2.6k :clap: All I need for this account that ive made mistakes on for my first stealth.

Lovely chap on the other side, not sure if he was English but his name does suggest so :en:

Also what I did was sell to the limit or close to it with BIN, took a little loss/risk by selling some on auction so im well past the limit way before the end of the month. And showed them this as proof that I need higher limits.

Hi guys. I wonder if anyone can help me.
on a new stealth account how do i get 500 items /10,000 month
I have read previous posts that i need to upgrade to a business account but is there anything more i need to do? do i need to call ebay? or what?

please help, thanks in advance

I am afraid no one will tell you outright how to make a 500 item / £10,000 account

You would have to spend a lot of time reading the forum and then experiment yourself a lot

Whatever card you use, make sure you keep a note of the original phone number used to open the account, even you don't have access to it. When I rang PayPal to get passed the EU limit I was only asked what that original phone was and luckily I had it logged so could just reel it of it to the Irish rep on the phone and he had a quick look at the docs I had uploaded previously, job done, he told me to log out then log in again in 5 mins and the limitation on my account, 'cos I had sailed through the EU limit, was gone.
