eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - Easiest to open UK bank account?

Is this some kind of under the counter deal that you experienced or are you luring the OP to spend a few hours 'chating' with border agency goons?

On another matter, all you people that easily opened bank accounts online, without documents, etc., don't be naive. Your data was checked against some database, credit agency, electoral roll, MI5, whatever, and it was cleared. I doubt the OP is in the common ones since he has nothing to his name.

Possible if you are based in the UK as they will credit check to confirm ID

If you are not in the UK its not going to be possible

...didnt know one is credit checked as in via credit agencies like creditscore for a saving acc?

also if you are accepted, does that mean you actually passed the credit check?

Its not a credit score, its just a credit check to confirm your identity.

If your accepted then yes they have been able to confirm your identity

Reports of trying to open many accounts in a short amount of time and then starting to get refused. Make of that what you will.

That would mainly apply to accounts that come with overdraft facilities. It won't effect you if you're applying for basic or prepaid accounts
