Flagged UK eBay account. Timescale on flag
 

If an eBay account has been flagged and had listings ended for the reason eBay gave "they could potentially be fraudulent" How long will the flag stay? Will it be forever? Could the account be left for afew months and then start selling again?

The items weren't fraudulent. Its actually a con on eBays part. I sold autographs which I know are all good but eBay ended 1800 listings giving the reason none of them had been authenticated by one of their approved authenticators. If I paid, more than most of them were actually worth, to have them authenticated I can list them again!!!

No if you get flagged for possible trademark violation or replicas etc.. It is not a good idea to list it again.
Ebay is watching you and its not worth losing an account like this.

It is highly likely you are selling copies considering you have 1800 listings of autographs.. Which ebay doubt any person would be so lucky so have so many. ( including me)

I thought this was a serious genuine forum??? Comments like this do nothing for a forum like this.

I'm actually well known on the UK autograph circuit as being a genuine good honest seller of GENUINE autographs. The same thing that has happened to me has happened to many other good autograph sellers. Its an eBay con to make more money.

poor *******s who had to give 100 signatures... I struggle to sign more than couple of shipping manifests a day.

If you have had items pulled for this then your just not safely going to be able to sell those items unless you do as eBay have asked.

Its unlikely that a flag on an account like that will ever be removed

On the contrary, it helps keep it safe and represents to others that scammers arent not welcome.
