New Stealth Paypal + existing ebay
 

Hey all,

I know some of you probably moaned when you read that title and wondered whether I have read any of the forums :lol:

Just wondering the likelihood of an eBay being banned if I continue to sell an item that Paypal limited my account for selling. eBay had no issues and the listing is still active but I have just hidden it as I cannot accept paypal on that listing anymore, after Paypal made me sign an affidavit to that affect.

I know using a stealth paypal on that same ebay account will get the paypal closed. I am fine with taking that risk and anything over 1-2 week use will be a bonus for me. I have no issue with the stealth paypal account being burnt after that time.

However, would I am wondering is whether being limited again by paypal would effect the actual ebay account. The ebay is TRS with over 7000 feedback and the limit is 50000/562500. Now that paypal and ebay are 'separate companies' can anyone tell me the likelihood of the ebay account closing if the new paypal was limited ?

That PP is separate from eBay is more of juridical sense not technological.
They still share info. between one another.

So it's possible that you could somehow lose your ebay account. But do you have any other choice? :)

Thanks for the response Ignas.

I could always just start a fresh stealth ebay + paypal, and I probably will as well but I will more than likely use the new paypal with this old account and hope for the best.

Just to let you know a few weeks ago I've tried to link a new eBay stealth to a very old good paypal account with lots of history and they immediately suspended the ebay account ( pp account remains ok) so be careful. Make sure the pp account does not have a previous billing agreement for ebay charges.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely foods for thought. I could live with the new stealth pp being suspended but it would hurt more if the ebay went as well.

Im sick fed up of answering these threads now lol. No one ever listens any way, don't understand why anyone posts this type of thread even though they have or are going to make a new PP and link it to the ebay acc anyway.

Mao, if you read my thread probably you would know that I know the risks and and ideally I should have a new setup. I wasn't asking whether it was a bad idea as that with the PP I'll 99% get suspended but I just need to get a week out of it.

I was asking about the eBay, which has not had any issue. If you fed up of answering then you could always just not answer. Lol

Or you could save yourself the hassle of wasting peoples time since you already know the answers to your own questions?

There are several other posts that deal with this same matter. I have posted on the subject a lot - worthwhile to read. In the long run, not a good choice to add a new pp. And yes...there are cases where the eb goes down too after adding the new pp

I didn't know the answer to my question but several others have been helpful with the input they provided so thank you to those people.

Don't waste your time. I have heard a lot of such cases. If you eBay already suspended. They will caught you using new Paypal account as well.
Just move on with both new accounts.

mouse trap set up by paypal as they know no one leaving behind a great standing ebay account.
I did same as guess what limited and linkage and now they wont release money after 180 days, they said they know it is not validated id, and to provide them with the real valid id.
What does that mean. Do you then surrender and say sorry bought a stealth account?

In case it's a stealth and you're not able to provide ID and PP your account is pretty much toast. :)

Reson 1 it is my money< i earned it, packed posted dispatched on time for it, no chargebacks so if i am being screwed over for some random check or these ids were all mass checked then how can i be to blame for that.
