Barclays Business Account?
 

How are Barclays Business accounts when it comes to stealth?

I've had the account in a company name for 2 years, obviously under my real info. The account was hardly ever used and I no longer trade under that company name.

I did consider closing the account altogether but then I wondered if it can be used for Stealth. Don't really want to throw away a perfectly useful bank account if I don't have to.

Can this be used for Stealth? Any problems with mismatched names/company names?

Also, how are the co-op for basic accounts? I only really know that Lloyds should be avoided, not sure about other banks...

Co-op is fine - don't know about Barclays business, but would also be interested as I also have one. It's my name trading as (business name)

im going to try a nat west community account where i can use ebay and paypal to raise funds fingers crossed

NATWEST is a nice bank to deal with, not had issues personally.

Barclays is the same, no issues whatsoever.

COOP was good for me (personal experience) for 3/4 years then they re-evaluate risk factors and I got shut down. No idea why, I had no overdrafts, 3 accounts were basic, little to no funds going into the accounts as they were linked to small accounts.

You will get issues with barclays when the money comes in, you need to open a savers account on the business and use that instead of the main one

1st formations will give you limited company for £12.99 +vat and £50 cash back and free business banking for 1 year with barclays . so you get limited company a business bank account free for a year and about £36. check the other uk formations companies

Ive been using a Barclays business account, current account and savers for years and not had any issues.
