HP Laptop running windows 10. Is switching User OK
 

Just got a new HP laptop running Win 10, which seems OK
Have an eb stealth Top rated account running nicely but want a backup just in case.
In the past on XP just had different user accounts & used tethered mobiles to get around IP's.
Understand there are possibly security issues with win10 but does anyone know if the method I used with XP will work on win10.
Don't want to try it just in case it screws up my current account.

Yeah it will work the same as it does on XP. The file system is essentially the same on Win 10 as on XP, so everything would be kept separate if you use multiple user accts on Win 10.

Yes it will work just fine in W10 as in Xp.

Security issues you are talking about are related to Microsoft collecting a lot of data o your preferences and stuff. BTW they do not care about your "stealth" activities or if you run 10 different user accounts.

Using W10 i personally suggest to have a read around with google about the above security issues and, in case, get hold of one of the many tools around which thight security a little bit more preventing your personal data to be stored into Microsoft servers.

The way data is maintained on the various user accounts is the same but the method of switching between them is a tad different - although that is the main thing keeping me from switching to Windows 10 myself. No idea why they would opt to reduce functionality with each passing iteration of the OS instead of increasing it...
