Registering a seller account
 

Hello

I want to register as a seller on Ebay UK, when it asks for a phone number to verify you are able to choose which country the phone number is in.

Do you think it's ok to put a foreign phone number to UK

I am in another country at the moment, and easiest for me to get sim here. I can always change the number at a later date to a uk one?

I would say that it's more safe to use UK number as well (can buy a prepaid sim on ebay.co.uk).

But maybe a more experienced member could elaborate a bit more on that. :)

UK Number would be the best way

You will need to make sure your using a UK IP at the very least to get the best results :)

How do you intend running the account from overseas though?

Why go to the hassles of doing this and risking a new account?

Bad idea.
youre starting the account with a major red flag against it before you ever get started.
Wouldnt surprise me if you started off with 0/0limits if you tried to do that. Would seem like a reasonable precaution on their part to do so.
