Can i register as a business seller with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information?
 

Hi all

I've been stuck on £6.9K/month for the past 6 months. I've been hitting the limit every single damn month and they still haven't increased.

To uncap my sell limit they say i can register as a business seller - can i register this with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details/address?

I don't want to disclose my actual address and a business seller exposes all this.

In a nutshell, yes.

You don't need to disclose any VAT information or company numbers.

Business accounts are also used by sole traders. ;)

Just remember though, converting to business will not guarantee that you start to get automatic increases again.

All business sellers have to disclose their registration address, its UK Law. So the asddress you have registered on that account will be visable on the page under Business Seller Information at the bottom.

You can modify if you want, remove the number, add 'Unit xx' or what not, but its not advised as a competitor can then report you for not displaying the correct info. First time you just get a smack on the wrist though, but does mean eBay look at your account, which is the opposite of Stealthing really!

6.9k a month for a private seller? No wonder they want you to register as a business, theres no way you have that many personal items around your house to sell :)
