Oh the wonderful PP Protection Scam Scenario...possible I guess or they are just thick. I go with just thick to be honest.

Hah, you would have to be downright stupid to bid over face value without ill intentions.

I can understand people paying a slight markup for antique currency but it just doesn't make sense with AZ vouchers..

Im still going with that, theres actually loads of vouchers now ive looked , all with bids over the face value, literal insanity.

The seller will get scammed.
Its a shame.

You can tell from the items they are selling and their feedback etc. that the seller is a basic person just doing the normal thing and unfortunately someone will defo scam them.
The scammers have screened out this person by looking at their items for sale, their feedback and the pictures used in their listings.

As mentioned, what a f'ing shame. I feel bad for the seller as they are that basic sort and don't really know how to make big money etc. and the loss will hit them hard.
They are not a regular seller on eb, just having a clear-out by the looks of things.

How about one question a buyer asked:

"Q: I am very interested in buying this gift card, however, I'd like to check if the gift card is indeed legitimate, could you please take a picture of the back of the gift card for me so I can contact Amazon who will be able to check if it is legitimate. I hope you understand, I do not want to be scammed. "

At least not that dense to give him the code....lol

I can only assume people bid more on vouchers because they dont have bank accounts attached to paypal to withdraw to so they bid whatever amount..

A friend sold some vouchers for Center Parcs last week - £10 worth for £11 - so it happens.

Criminals dont have a problem paying over the odds for goods, they need an untraceable way to spend illegitimate PayPal funds

I considered this maybe being a stealth cashout method, but once I read that the seller mails the codes I figured that rules out cashing out..
