Verify yourself for every withdrawal

So one of my PayPal's is relatively new, added bank account about 2 weeks ago to it. Every time I do a withdrawal it asks me to identify myself via phone, or credit/debit card number as they "don't recognise the device i'm using".

I have obviously seen this verification process before but not on every single withdrawal. Also, after I have identified myself - it says the usual 2 hours to hit bank, but after clicking submit it says 24 hours. I am finding it usually reaches my bank account after around 18-20 hours. The wait is no issue, it just concerns me that it doesn;t recognise the device i'm using, but there has been no change in user ID, cookies etc. Only the IP which is a dongle. Weird

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this recently? Its only on one of my accounts so it's not like its some sort of general paypal glitch which I am sure would have been mentioned here already.

Anyone else having this issue?

It happens occasionally when you don't have enough history / cookies built up.

Wait a few days and try doing it again for a smaller amount. That usually fixes it

This does happen pretty often for the first few weeks / months.

Are you using a static or dynamic IP? I would guess dynamic

Give it a few weeks and it will go away, or you can try swapping to a static IP which may help prevent it

Ok thanks.

It's a dynamic (EE dongle). So ip changes. I'll reset and put it on my home broadband for a while and see if that fixes it.

Thanks again

Also tends to happen if you delete your cookies etc., it thinks your withdrawing from a new device.

Is your browser auto-deleting cookies every time you log off?

Sounds like your not saving cookies or using browser in privacy mode

Sorry for the late replies, I've been on holiday.
No, cookies are not deleting, everything is fine now though. Must've just needed a rest whilst I was away I guess!
