wrong Paypal email in Ebay account Clanger ..Wow how stupid of me

Just discovered item sold in ebay stealth account A, but the funds went into paypal B for ebay stealth account B.

Checking the listing i had put the wrong paypal email address like a stupid fool.

Both appear to be okay so far.

My instinct is to let it run see what happens . I think I will have to ship the item as I would normally and use none paypal shipping.

I can only think if asked by eBay why this happened, i can say i was selling for a friend/relative who is indisposed and used their paypal account to send them the money.

I wonder can you actually do that ? sell an item on your ebay account and have the payment go to another paypal account ?

Your advice would be welcome please

Make or buy couple of other eBay/PayPal accounts and nurture them along in case you do have issues, then you are not left with nothing if anything happens.

You have effectively linked the accounts - now...they might survive but it would be wise like Rosie said to make backups.

If eBay asked why this happened, that excuse is not a good one - I would change the info right away and avoid repeating

Thanks for the reply and i'm acting that advice as we speak.

I know. they are probably toast now .

what i have done is refund the buyer from the wrong email.paypal as this is some kind of error. and then communicate with the buyer and send paypal money request.

He has now paid the paypal money request from the correct account sent the money and item has been shipped. I havent removed the money yet because i don't normally do that

Fingers crossed but im not holding much hope

I wouldnt say toast yet...just don't rely on ONLY these accounts...

RSOT no i am not i have enough accounts to use but will be making more . it is good advice
