Was the item delivered safely? If so then it is what it is I am afraid

I would still make a complaint though to them

You get what you pay for.

Using Parcel2Go, the worst third party booking company and the second worst courier service in the UK is just a bit stupid. Same price to use the Hermes website over the P2Go one and at least you get £25 standard cover then.

Problem is, these companies know you can't really do 'anything' about it if they refuse your claim. We do need new laws governing the rise of the courier services in this country.

I have really went off using parcel2go. Last year I booked yodel through them and they 'lost' 2 packages of mine containing over £600 worth of items. Never got a refund or even any explanation as to what happened to them. They are both useless, should have got the packages covered but didn't really want to pay £30 each when they were only being delivered a few hours from where they were being picked up. Hermes have always been ok for me but probably depends what you are sending, I only ever sent smaller packages with them. Everyone should stay clear of Yodel at all costs though.

Re: parcel2go left parcel in black whellie bin

TBH the stuff I have on some of my accounts, if I advertised that I was going to use the likes of Yodel or Hermes I would imagine my final auction values would be between 10-20% less than what they get. For collectables and ceramics you most definitely do not want to have your parcels thrown over a gate, or wall, or squashed in a bin.

Royal Mail all the way for me, and buyers prefer it.

When paying for parcelforce through paypal it only works out to £2 extra. So would rather use them or DHL .

Re: parcel2go left parcel in black whellie bin

DHL are really very very good, but I only use them for expensive international items.

For domestic items its Royal Mail. I cannot fault their service really

DPD and ipostparcels have also both been very solid when I have used them in the past

Sounds weird. You got money back already yet ask us what we think

:spy:

You sent a parcel worth £140, not insured for full amount, & it got lost?

Tall story time or sad coincidence again with you?

No I got delivery cost reimbursed only a fiver I wanted £140.00
Soo is not a refund of delivery an act of guilty
I was not happy with parcel being left outside in a rubbish bin with no proof of signature and it's a Scam as drivers are keeping and flogging so next time I need to insure and get it signed

U need to read again pls

Where is the source to back up those figures?

Re: parcel2go left parcel in black whellie bin

For anything less than 2kg just go with Royal Mail, as you can't beat them for price/service at this point. All the Yodels, Hermes and other cancer couriers are just waste of time.

Anything over 2kg or International, just go with UPS Express at £12 per parcel and I've never, ever had a problem with them.
I've sent well over 500 parcels with UPS and they always collect before 1PM and deliver next day with international deliveries taking usually 2-3 days in EU.

No, you need to supply the source if you are quoting 'facts'. Not hard to do, unless you just made it up, is it?:ranger:

It used to be very bad at Royal Mail, mainly when they got in temp Christmas staff. In 2011/12 though they implemented a lot of new changes which has seen the issue pretty much solve.

There will always be thefts though

The buyer got the item so you were not ever going to get the value of the item refunded. Why would you?

They did refund the delivery cost, so that seems about fair really.

stevebills 04-05-2016 04:29 AM

Re: parcel2go left parcel in black whellie bin

Buyer did hey the item he tells me items was not in the black bin so he's claiming off eBay
So he is lying or the driver or we have a black bin robber
