Can I use UK eBay and PP Account o Sell to USA Market?
 

Hello Guys,

Newbie /Noobish question.

I am thinking of buying a UK PP and ebay stealth account. My plan is to sell to USA market on ebay.com. Can I use the UK stealth account for this purpose?

My original plan was to buy a US PP and ebay stealth account but I think I will struggle to cash out from paypal because I do not have a USA bank account.

Please advise :-)

It is possible to use a eBay USA account with a UK PayPal account.

Its not ideal, but it is possible.

Yes, you can just log into your UK eBay account on the USA site and list on their marketplace.

On a slight tangent, you could ship internationally (to USA) and if option is given to you, sign up for global shipping programme to reach out to other countries.

(p.s. a lot of criticism over GSP, though has worked a charm for me so far).

You cant sell internationally until the account has been selling for 90 days and has 10 seller feedback.

Attempts to bypass these restrictions usually don't end well.

Becoming eligible for GSP could take forever too... so if its a new account, the simplest way would be the other recommendations.

Most of the other recommendations would result in a MC113 suspension.

James' suggestion would work.

Too risky for a new account.

Failings with the postal service are often touted as reasons for going sub-standard.

OP needs to be aware of this chance.

My UK account is aged, since 2002. I was once a powerseller too but stopped selling on it when I lost my PP account. I am thinking of trying the US market with the same account but worried I will loose a new PP account I open and link to that account. I think I might have to get a new US stealth account and use that instead. It might be a slower process but I think it might be the safest. Please correct me if I am wrong.

This is risky, but may work. Building a stealth paypal (using stealth guide) and attaching that ebay to it for sales. I cant see any other way to go forward safely with this scenario.

But GreenBean poses a good question - if you havnt had any activity since, your going to have to start 'really slow', maybe start by not even selling, but buying a few things here and there.

Alternatively, leave that account alone. Build a stealth yourself, get to grips with the concept, then consider reviving that account once you get the gist.

Yes I bought an item with it. It was a collection only item so I did not use PP. I think starting afresh altogether seems the safer way to go. I have been reading a lot on the forums too and all roads points down this route.
